July 15 to 19, 2013 ($120 per child, Early Bird $99 until May 10, 2013)
This week-long camp with activities such as cooking classes, gardening and chickens 101. We'll learn where their food comes from. We've designed lesson plans that promote a healthy interest in food and kids' decisions about what they eat. They'll learn such things as: - Facts about food allergies and food safety to promote awareness.
- Math, science, and technology objectives integrated with basic chef skills lessons.
- Learn about sustainable farming and food production.
- Focus on nutrition and the importance of physical exercise in addition to meal planning and food preparation.
Lunch included. Ages 6 to 16; chefs will be placed into age/skill groups for the week. Limit 24 students.
Monday through Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Friday - 9 to Noon with lunch for parents or grandparents!

Space is limited to 12 to 20 students per hands-on sessions and farm-to-table dinners, respectively. If you need to cancel a class, please do so at least 72 hours prior to the class to receive a credit towards another class. All class reservations are taken on a first come, first serve basis so you are encouraged to sign up early. If The Cook's Farm cancels a class for any reason, you will be notified immediately by phone or email and can switch to another class of the same value or be fully refunded your registration fees. The Cook's Farm reserves the right to substitute an instructor or modify any class when necessary.
